　　All are ordinary feelings，
　　All are common words，
9 g4 p) V" ^2 d, ~% Z; h　　Once a poet happens to catch them，
2 d# S5 I( A; K8 y4 u+ ?5 {% E　　What magic poetry they can create!
; g* k7 g) p# K3 ~: V4 X　　One never knows how strong is the wine
- ]3 I# n" R, T* {" M" B　　Until drunk，
% S$ w" W# p/ ]4 \　　One never knows how deep is the feeling
　　Until loved，
) X5 h4 v3 I9 `. @% F　　You are not able to write my poems，
* ?+ W3 b6 k( U  O/ m　　As I cannot dream your dreams.
　　梦与诗
　　都是平常经验，
. ~& y* x. J% c2 D/ \9 b　　都是平常影象，
　　偶然涌到梦中来，
　　变幻出多少新奇花样!
; {& }- o9 c  i/ `　　都是平常情感，
+ C1 U1 g  l  Y3 b　　都是平常言语，
　　偶然碰着个诗人，
* A1 e  y% Y7 w4 h. l" K4 t2 w　　变幻出多少新奇诗句!
* ]; x+ n7 u' W' K3 ]　　醉过才知酒浓，
0 D( c( ?* x9 B- I/ s　　爱过才知情重，
3 r$ O! G, N) {$ y　　你不能做我的诗，
　　正如我不能做你的梦!
